Melon treat

Serves: 2

Ingredients:
  • Water melon- 2 cups (cubes)
  • Salt- a pinch
  • Lemon juice- 2 to 3 drops
Method:
  • Remove outer skin and cube the Melon.
  • Measure 2 cups of these cubes.
  • Place it in big jar. Blend well at speed 1 for 30 sec.
  • Strain through a large eyed filter (usage of small eyed strainers like tea strainer removes most of the fibers)
  • Add salt, Lemon juice to the strained juice and blend at speed 1 for 30 sec along with ice cubes.
  • Serve cold in decorative glasses.

Apple with pineapple swing

Serves: 2

Ingredients:
  • Apples- 2
  • Pineapple- 1
  • Lemon juice- 2 to 3 drops
  • Salt- a pinch
  • Ice cubes- as required.
Method:
  • Prepare pineapple cubes by removing its crown, outer skin and center core.
  • The pineapple used should be sweet, firm and ripe. Cut it into cubes.
  • Remove core and seeds from apple cut them into cubes.
  • Crush them well in the big jar by inching and then add 1 cup of cold water and blend at speed 1 for 30 sec.
  • Strain the blended mixture in a big eyed filter. Put the juice back to the jar and add lemon juice, salt and blend at speed 1 along with ice cubes for 30 sec.
  • Serve cold in glasses.

Note: Honey or sugar quantity can be altered based on the taste preferred.

Pom-guava blend

Serves: 2

Ingredients:
  • Pomegranate seeds- 1 cup
  • Ripe guava- 1
  • Water- 1½ cups
  • Salt- a pinch
Method:
  • Wash the Guava well and cut in into cubes,
  • Place it in the big jar and inch in pulse mode till crushed.
  • Add 1 cup of water and blend well till smooth using speed 1.
  • Strain in big-eyed filter till smooth. Keep the juice aside.
  • Put the Pomegranate seeds in the big jar and run at speed 1 then add ½ cup water and blend again, strain this juice in the same filter.
  • Pour both the juices in the big jar and add Honey, Salt, Lemon Juice and blend at speed 1 for 40 sec along with ice cubes of crushed ice. Serve in glasses.
  • This is ideal to overcome high blood pressure because of its low sodium content.

Papaya orange combi

Serves: 4

Ingredients:
  • Fresh ripe orange- 4
  • Chopped papaya- 1 cup
  • Crushed ice cubes as required
  • Salt a pinch
  • Water- 1 cup
Method:
  • Peel orange and place it in big jar.
  • Add ½ cup cold water and blend the orange pieces at speed 1 for 30 sec in a big jar.
  • Strain it through a large eyed filter keep the fresh juice aside.
  • Place the chopped papaya, fresh orange juice, honey and salt in big jar and inch till Papaya is completely crushed and smooth.
  • Now add remaining water and blend at speed 1 for 30 sec. Serve cold with crushed ice on top.

Orange smoothie

Serves: 2

Ingredients:
  • Fresh orange juice- 1 cup
  • Milk- 1 cup
  • Sugar- ½ cup
  • Crushed ice cubes- 1 cup
  • Fresh ripe banana- 1
Method:
  • For Orange juice: Place orange in big jar and run at low speed segment 1 for 30 sec, then strain. Place orange juice, milk, sugar, crushed ice, fresh ripe banana in big jar and blend at speed 1 for 30 sec or till smooth. Serve immediately in decorative glasses.

Orange/ Musambi juice

Serves: 4

Ingredients:
  • Fruit pieces- 3 cups
  • Water- ½ cup
Method:
  • Prepare orange or musambi cubes by peeling the skin.
  • Place the fruit in big jar and run at speed 1 for 30 sec.
  • Add water and blend at speed 1 for 30 sec.
  • Strain in a big-eyed filter add crushed ice and serve cold.
  • This is a low sodium drink and ideal for high blood pressure patients.

Grape juice

Serves: 4

Ingredients:
  • Grapes- 3 cups (without stalk)
  • Water- 1 cup
Method:
  • Place Grapes in big jar run at speed 1 for 30 sec
  • Add water and run at speed 1 for 30 sec, strain and serve cold.
  • Serve cold in decorative glasses with crushed ice on top.

Pistachio shake

Serves: 3

Ingredients:
  • Pistachio-unsalted 3 tbsp
  • Milk- 3 cups
  • Sugar- 3 tbsp or as desired
  • Saffron- little
Method:
  • Cut 4 Pistachios into slivers and set aside. Place the remaining pistachios in a blender, cover, and inch several times to coarsely grind in big jar using.
  • Add ½ -cup milk and blend at speed 1 for 30 sec or until smooth.
  • Scrape down the sides of the jar with a spatula to free the nuts. Slowly add 1-cup milk and blend for ½ minute at speed 1.
  • Place the nut milk, saffron in a heavy- bottom pan over high heat. Stirring constantly, bring to full boil.
  • Froth the milk two more times, then remove it from the flame and stir in a sweetener until dissolved.
  • Place the strainer over the blender and pour in the milk. cover and blend, in inching mode 5-10 times.
  • Serve in decorative glasses.

Pineapple juice

Serves: 4

Ingredients:
  • Pineapple- 1 cup
  • Cold water- 1 cup
Method:
  • Prepare the Pineapple cubes by peeling the outer skin, removing the crown and core and cutting it into cubes.
  • Now place the cubes in the big jar and inch 10-15 times, now add 1 cup of cold water and blend at speed 1 for 30 sec.
  • Sieve it through a filter. Serve chilled with crushed ice on top. Boon to overcome anorexia (loss of appetite.)

Apple soda

Serves: 2

Ingredients:
  • Apples- 2
  • Cold water- ¼ cup
  • Soda-1 bottle (250ml) (Optional)
  • Salt-a pinch
  • Lemon juice- 3 drops
  • Crushed ice cubes- as required
Method:
  • Peel Apple, remove core with seeds, cut it into cubes.
  • Place it in the big jar and inch till apple gets crushed.
  • Add water and blend at speed 1 with sugar till smooth.
  • Strain it in a filter. Add Lemon juice and salt to the juice and mix well.
  • Now fill half of the glass with juice and add soda to the same glass till the brim and serve immediately.
  • Overcomes anorexia, heals diarrhea, maintains fluid balance

Mix and match

Serves: 4

Ingredients:
  • Apple- 1 cup (peeled and diced)
  • Pineapple- 1 ½ cup (peeled and diced)
  • Mango- 1 (ripe)
  • Cold water- ½ cup
Method:
  • Place pineapple cubes in the big jar and inch to get crushed.
  • Blend it well till very smooth using speed 1.
  • Add Apple cubes and blend well at speed 1 till very soft.
  • Then add ripe Mangoes and blend for 40 sec at speed 1.
  • Now add cold water and blend at low speed segment 1 for 30 sec.
  • Add crushed ice if required and serve immediately.

Prevents fatigue, helps overcome tiredness.

Sapota treat

Serves: 4

Ingredients:
  • Sapota- 4 (ripe and firm)
  • Dates- 4 (seedless)
  • Honey- 2 tbsp
  • Salt-a pinch
  • Cold Water- 1½ cups
Method:
  • Peel the ripe Sapota and cut it into pieces and remove the seeds. Soak Dates in warm water ½ cup and keep aside for ½ an hour.
  • Blend soaked Dates along with water to a very smooth paste first by inching and then by grinding at speed 1 in the big jar.
  • Now add Sapota, honey, salt and blend to make a smooth paste using speed 1.
  • Now add 1 ½ cups of cold water and grind at speed 1 for 30 sec. Serve with crushed ice.

Prevents fatigue, helps overcome sun stroke.

Banana delight

Serves: 4

Ingredients:
  • Banana- 1(if big) or 2-3 (if small)
  • Honey- 2 tbsp
  • Dates- 3
  • Milk- 2 cups
Method:
  • Peel banana and cut into 2 or 3 pieces.
  • Place it in big jar and inch to get crushed add Honey or sugar and little milk and blend till smooth using speed 1.
  • Add remaining milk or water and blend at speed 1 for 50 sec till everything is blend well.
  • Serve in glasses with crushed ice and Banana circle.

Morning glory fruit shake

Serves: 4

Ingredients:
  • Banana- 2 cups (sliced)
  • Strawberry- 2 cups (sliced)
  • Pineapple or papaya- 2 cups (chopped)
  • Apple- 1 cup (peeled and chopped)
  • Water/milk- ¾ cup
  • Honey- 2 tbsp
  • Crushed ice- 1 cup
Method:
  • Place all the Fruits and sweetener in the big jar and inch several times till the fruits get crushed.
  • Add little milk or water and blend till smooth using speed 1.
  • Add crushed ice and remaining milk or water and blend at speed 1 for 30 sec.
  • Serve with some crushed ice on top in decorative glasses.

Chocolate milk shake

Serves: 4

Ingredients:
  • Cold milk- 4 cups
  • Chocolate ice cream- 2 cups
  • Cocoa powder- 5 tbsp (sweetened)
  • Crushed ice- ½ cup
Method:
  • Place milk and cocoa powder in big jar and blend at pulse mode.
  • Add ice cream and blend for another 30 sec at speed 1.
  • Pour in decorative glasses and put ice over with ice cream.
